How to pitch a startup
I found this presentation through Hacker News the other week and thought it was worth sharing. It’s an excellent example of the slideshow-as-business-plan idea, and makes a very compelling case for a start-up. It’s remarkably concise – some business plans run to tens of pages, but in just 12 uncluttered slides this does a great job of laying out the opportunity, the competition, a very clever pricing scheme that specifically exposes the overpriced competition, a revenue plan, and most importantly a target market that is proven to spend money.
